Middle Manual QA Engineer (with automation skills)

LOCATION: Kyiv, Ukraine 

We're looking for Middle Manual QA with automation skills to join Kyiv team on full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements analysis and processing;
• Test cases/checklists and other types of test doсumentation creation;
• Estimate the required testing time;
• Perform testing activities on 1-2 projects, communicate with developers and project managers;
• Functional and regression tests  iOS/Android/web apps.
• Defect and Test Summary reports preparation.
• Functional REST-Api-testing.
• Implement maintainable high-quality test scripts using JS/Java.

Requirements:

• Higher education (preferable in IT).
• 3+ years of manual testing of mobile iOS/Android/web apps experience.
• Understanding of QA processes, techniques, approaches, methodologies and software development lifecycle, and ability to apply the knowledge          into daily operation;
• Good experience and understanding of Scrum and Kanban processes.
• Experience producing key test assets (requirements gathering, checklists and test scenarios creation, etc.)
• Solid experience with testing APIs (REST). Automation of API testing.
• Knowledge of common mobile debugging/monitoring;
• 1+ year experience in development of automated scripts (desirable JS or Java)
• Experience with continuous integration and source control systems such as Git/Github;
• Good knowledge in complex SQL queries;

Personal skills:

• English spoken and written on the upper-intermediate level or higher;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• High level of attention to details;
• Ability to keep a high level overview of the complete solution and understand the business value;
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive independently or collaboratively with team on solutions, positive approach to difficulties and creative problem solver.

Desirable:

• Nice to have experience in banking, insurance systems and services;
• Familiarity with the following technologies: AWS, NoSQL databases
• Experience with BDD (Cucumber, jBehave, etc) is plus;
• Nice to have experience with Performance/Load testing (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.);
• Basic understanding of security and penetration testing;
