Our customer is a market leader, providing services to the major companies in automotive industry. The product is a hi-end car infotainment system (advanced real-time information, communication, entertainment, media and navigation systems; deep integration with handheld devices, cloud, and mixed reality, etc.). As hundreds of millions of users will use the product, it will be developed by a large international team, with adherence to the highest levels of quality assurance and industry standards.
Areas of Responsibility
Coordinate and deliver releases to an OEM
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of software
Be responsible for maintaining all project schedules (feature, maintenance, etc.) and conducting status meetings with project team as needed. Responsibilities include facilitating communications with higher ranking, coordination, and correspondence between stakeholders across the Engineering, Product, Development and Operations organizations
Identify, assess, track and advocate the business needs, milestones, goals, with adherence to timeframes, and compliance with the highest industry standards and principles
Anticipate, track and address needs, interests, requests or inquiries from the stakeholders and the client and provide transparent, regular and precise updates and progress reports
3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Release Manager for large-scale and complex software projects with a complete end-to-end understanding of product development methodologies and hands-on experience in Agile/Waterfall environment. Competence in either SPICE or CMMI is required. Previous development experience with the following technologies as listed below is required.
Must have experience:
Strong communication skills
Automotive SPICE or CMMI
Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English
Waterfall/V model development
Must have at least good theoretical knowledge:
Testing approaches (black box, grey box, white box, etc.)
Testing levels (unit, module, functional)
Good to have:
Development Team leading expertise
Embedded programming experience
Requirements analysis and design development experience.
